Our family just now added a pug puppy to our home and we absolutely love her . She is 8 wks. old and her name is Madison.Potty house training her is turning out to be an interesting experience.

Quite often pugs do have a bit of a temper and you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of her as I have done on one or two occasions.. You should see the look on her face

On certain days our pug likes a good old whine especially on Monday and Tuesday, on Friday she is the happiest pug around, she knows when the weekend is fast approaching. Or if she can't get our attention for some cause she goes on her puppy pad and she gets all the extolment

Every book and training technique possible has been used to try on and housetrain her but not always with the success we were expecting. Then there are days like yesterday where she won't go to the door or the puppy pad .We can take her away to do her duty and maybe she will then come back in the home and hide to do it again

My husband advised we bring her to a veterinarian in the hope of getting a solution as pug dogs have been known to get cestodes. We do give her the rummy little snack or treat, call it what you will but it really lights up her face and it is so worth seeing her smile

She has even started to use the bathroom in her deary taxi again, I also read an article that pug puppies do have troubles yet we don't know why but she does her poops in her bed. She loves going out and we constantly bring her outside after she has drunk a a lot of water. She manages to last eight to 10 hours depending on how long she naps for, A few weeks ago I left the door open so she could go to the toilet on her puppy pad but that was a failure. She wasn't using the pad she was using everything else including my husbands sock -- he was not happy

We never raise our voices at her just simply take her out and tell her to go on the grass. Can you assists us Are we puzzling her with outside and the pad. What have we done to make her backslide back to square one.Any help would be apprized. She is the first dog we have assayed to housebreak and I am already feeling like a loser.
