Coban, a town in the Guatemalan highlands, is known for the delightful nature that surrounds it. Points of interest are El Biotopo de Quetzal, a nature preserve with excellent hiking trails, Las Grutas de Lanquin, a cave with interesting formations and a river running through it, and Semuc Champrey, which is a natural limestone bridge with a crystal clear river that has waterfalls and pools to swim in.
